Hello,

You may recognize Chad and Hana from an earlier posting. This Wedding was a blast to shoot! I could go on and on about how fun this Wedding was. The Bride and Groom are mad in love, the Wedding Party were just that... a party and the Venue (Lora Bay Golf Club) was perfect. It was hard to choose just 20 of the 2300 picks we took. I shot everything from the Salon to the reception. I brought my studio so I could take portraits of the Guests at the reception. Hope you enjoy them. 20 pics in 4 posts.

Some info about Sittings

Just blogged about Weddings and now I thought I would answer some questions about Portrait Sittings. I have had emails today asking about the way I offer my Portrait Sittings. On my website my price list says that I do not have sitting fees. It is true... no fine print. All you have to do is book a time, come in to the studio and we shoot some awesome pictures. In 24 hours your digital proofs are ready on a disc for you to take home. There is no minimum order or hidden fees. Your final prints are fully retouched, printed with archival inks on archival paper, so they last for decades. I shoot everything in colour but your finished portraits can also be in Black and White (which I love!).

Every dollar that you spend goes towards a finished portrait that will be in your Family for generations.

Info about file packages.

Hello,

I have been getting alot of questions about Wedding file packages. So I thought I would put some answers up on the BLOG. Every Wedding is different... no two are alike. With this in mind I have left my Wedding coverage very open. This allows you to let me know what you are looking for and not the other way around. What file packages can do for you...

- you get a printable copy of everything from your day. This year the average Wedding is receiving more than 1000 files.
- your favourites are fully retouched and provided on a disc so you can have the highest quality prints made. I do not offer packages where you just get the RAW files. I always provide retouched files.
- everything is backed up for safe keeping. Nothing is dumped.
- having the files allows you the freedom of making books, slideshows, loading digital picture frames and posting on the web (facebook).
- you can still have prints, slideshows and albums made through the studio if you wish.

If you are interested in this type of package, or have other questions, just drop me an email or call. I would love to sit down and hear your ideas. If a file package is not what you are looking for, I do offer traditional Wedding packages.

One other thing... I do travel outside of the Collingwood area for Weddings and assignments. I actually just booked a Wedding for next July that will be taking place in Niagara on the Lake... going to be a blast!

Puppy Emma

The Dowding Kids Now

I had a nice surprise about a week ago. The Dowding Family came in for a shoot. I didn't realize it at the time of booking, they had sat for me 10 years ago. Their Mom was kind enough to bring in the pictures I had printed for them. As a photographer it was a pretty special moment. Time flies in a blink of an eye. My own Daughter is 9... the best thing in the world is being her Dad.

Leslie & Jamie Part 1

Leslie and Jamie Married this past Saturday in Thornbury. I have been looking forward to working with them all year. Both Families were so fun and easy to work with. Lots of hugs, kisses and a few tears. The weather was beautiful, but a little on the chilly side. The reception was held at Blue Mountain Resort and was spectacular! We took just under 2300 pics.
