Santa Hat Fun

Every year come December, I pull out the Santa hats I have and have a bit of fun. I generally don't use props in my Portraits, as I believe that it can take away from the portrait. That being said... a little kid in a Santa Hat is pretty cute. Clients generally don't order wall portraits of these but to have them as files for emailing, cards or presents for Grandparents, they are priceless.

The Studio is open for appointments untill the 23rd of December, then Open again the 27th. If you would like to come in, just call or email.

Happy Holidays!

The Appleton Family

5 years ago I had the pleasure of shooting the Appleton's Wedding. Well... in 5 years life has gotten allot more busy for them!!! I had a great time with their 3 little ones, they were a pleasure to work with. It is not hard to get some great pics of giggling happy kids. Here are some of my favourites from the 239 pics they are getting from this weekends sitting.

Hope everyone is well.

Jean Vanier Drama

Mrs. Julie Morin's drama class is presenting "The King of Pride Rock". I have been shooting the head shots for her class for I believe 15 years. I always look forward to working with the kids in her class. They always put on a great show! If you would like to see the show you can email Mrs. Morin at... jmorin@smcdsb.on.ca or call 705-445-2043.

All the pictures that I have shot over 15 years are on display backstage at the school. Here are this years Thespians.

Thanks for having a look.

Holiday Portrait deadline...

Just wanted to put some info up in regards to Portrait deadlines for the Holidays. There really isn't one. I shoot and print everything here on site in my Studio. I personally retouch and print all finished portraits. I use the best printer available from Epson that uses 8 archival pigment based inks as well as Epson portrait papers. Since I don't have to rely on an outside lab, I am able to offer custom printing right up till the 23rd of December. The only day the studio will be closed is Christmas Day and Boxing Day. So if you have your Family here over the Holidays and would like to come in to see me just give me a call or email me through my website.

Happy Holidays!

The Hamilton Family

It is always great to have a Family come back in. The Hamiltons came in to see me last year. I had a hard time picking just 4... their little girls are a blast!

Here are my favourite 4.

Hope everyone is well.

3 Sisters

Adrian brought her 2 Sisters in for a sitting. Champagne and wardrobe changes plus a stylist (Adrian's daughter) made for a really fun sitting. I have had quite a few kids through the studio lately... it was a bit different that I didn't have to bribe my subjects with candy for a smile. I guess that is what the champagne was for.

Here are 4 to have a look at.

Hope everyone is well.

Hello,

Today I had a great sitting with Merrick and Sadie. It is a tough job being a Big Brother! Merrick more than rose to the occasion with lots of kisses for his new baby Sister. So here are 8 of my favourites from this mornings sitting.

Jenna

Here are a few of my favourite picks from a recent sitting here in the studio. My own Daughter is past this stage of huggs and giggles (she is 9). I think that is why I enjoy it when Families bring in their little ones. I get to be a part of this great time over and over again.

Thanks for having a look.
