Happy Sunday... Backing up files and editing. This week... I will be married to my Mac. I feel a need coming on to post some pix this week. Here is one of my favourites from Tracy and Jazz's session. They were celebrating their one anniversary up at Blue Mountain and wanted some portraits shot. Something simple... So we shot and had fun for about 90 minutes. We shot over 1300 images. It would seem my shutter finger doesn't understand simple. I do LOVE shooting up at Blue!! Hope everyone is having a great weekend. John

Stefany & Kris {Collingwood Wedding Photographer}

Afternoon,
Stefany & Kris are getting married this coming May up at Blue Mountain. While they were here, we got together for a planning session plus an engagement session. We had a great time getting to know each other, as we had yet to meet face to face. I had a great time working with them. We shot over 600 frames... here are 6 of my favourites. Every wedding package I shoot includes a session like this. If you would like to know more I would love to hear from you.
Hope everyone is well.

The Campbell Family {Collingwood Portrait Photographers}

Evening,
The Campbell Family came up to Blue Mountain for a little get away and some R&R. They were a great Family to work with. We started by shooting a series of portraits inside the Hotel then headed outside to have some fun. In the Campbell Family all the Grandkids are older and in University or finishing up High School. But... Grandkids will be Grandkids and you never have to ask them twice to hug their Grandma. Here are some of my favourites of the 580 proofs they have to pick from.
Hope everyone in your Family is well.

Just saying Hello {Collingwood portrait photographers}

Morning,
Having a fun time today printing 16x20's in between portrait sessions. I have always loved printing big prints. Busy weekend with sessions that book right into Monday. I was up at Blue this morning for a portrait consultation and can't believe how much snow there is at the resort. If you are coming up to Collingwood to ski you are going to be amazed! Family getting together over the holidays? I am available for sessions. Just call or email.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Kristina & Peter {Collingwood Wedding Photographer}

Afternoon,
Kristina and Peter are one of those Couples that are an absolute pleasure to work with. Relaxed and fun, was the order for their Wedding Day. They were to be married at the top of Blue Mountain... alas the weather was not the best. So we had to be inside. It didn't bother them one little bit. They had a beautiful ceremony, at The Blue Mountain Conference Centre. After which, we got some beautiful shots just wandering all around the Resort. Here are some of my favourites (it was hard to pick just a few) from their special day.
Hope everyone is well.

Gurlz Weekend at Blue {Collingwood Photographer}

Evening again,
This past weekend was a busy one! Here is an assignment I had to get up right away. Some old High School friends asked me if I would like to shoot their GURLZ weekend. It took me under a second to say yes. I had an absolute fantastic time with these six life long friends. The 80's music was playing and the Martinis pouring. I think we got some great shots! I think the Martinis were a good help. When they asked how much this was going to cost, we all decided that we would make a donation to The Canadian Breast Cancer Association. These are my 5 favourite from the shoot. if you would like to see more check out my Business Facebook page under John Knox Photography.
Thanks for having a look.
